A poem.
When at home alone I sit,
I never seem to tire of it.
I only have to take a look
Along the shelves and choose a book,
And every two times out of three,
I choose the “Little Library.”
The books are little, green and blue,
And there are orange covers, too.
I love the way the books are made
For there are pictures — I’m afraid
The pictures mean the most to me
No matter what the story be.
I love the one of Peter Pan,
I love the watching Peep-Show Man,
“The London Doll,” “The Rose and Ring,”
But then it is a funny thing, —
I’d name them all because you see
I love each one quite differently.
