Roger's paper doll bow ties

For Roger's twentieth anniversary as The Horn Book's editor in chief, we asked some of his favorite illustrators to decorate his favorite fashion item. Now you can, too!

Click on the picture of the PDF below to print out a life-sized Roger head (illustration by Ed Briant), ideally on card stock, plus bow ties by Tomie dePaola, Melissa Sweet, Sergio Ruzzier, Alexandra Day, and Marla Frazee. Cut out the ties (complete with tabs); cut on the dotted lines of Roger's collar; and stick 'em through. Even better, decorate your own tie and show us what you think Roger wants to wear today!
