Welcome to
the new Horn Book Guide! Current subscribers to the Guide, whether print, digital, or database, should this morning be receiving instructions for logging in; for those who are not (yet? Please, God) go over and poke around. The two new features I like best are the ability of our editors to post booklists and other features, and the ability of subscribers to save a list of titles they are interested in. Further enhancements (and more reviews; we've initially imported the last eight years of recommended reviews but there are plenty more where those came from) are coming and I hope you will let us know what else you would like to see. Feel free to comment below with any suggestions.
Thanks are due to many for engineering this prodigious effort: Robert Bond, our buddy in New Mexico who developed the initial database and Guide Online; the Media Source team, led by Sreedhar Kondagunta, in our New York office; all of the Horn Book staff but most of all our indefatigable Guide Goddesses Katrina Hedeen and Cindy Ritter, who worked hard to make something of which we can be very proud. Go look!
