>The latest issue of Notes is out, with five questions for Rosemary Wells about Max and Ruby (they should do a live-action remake with Bobby and Sally Draper, no?) and reviews of new picture books, nonfiction, chapter books and YA fantasy. Damn, what isn't published in a series these days?

Off to New York to see some shows, walk in the bamboo forest and spy on our little sister for a couple of days.

He was previously editor of The Bulletin of the Center for Children's Books and a children's and young adult librarian. He received his MA in library science from the University of Chicago in 1982 and a BA from Pitzer College in 1978.

>I don't think Bobby and Sally Draper have much in common with Max and Ruby. Mostly Sally ignores Bobby, as do the script writers.

Now Sally and Betty Draper -- THEY could do a live reenactment of Max and Ruby.
