For your listening pleasure

Horn Book Book Podcast logoYes, I still have two posts to write but have been (still am) sick so I'll take the easy route for now.

Back in the day, the Horn Book had a podcast. My favorite was one that Roger recorded in January 2008 when he was on the Caldecott committee. What I love about this is the way it gives you a sense of committee camaraderie and the suspense of waiting for the announcement -- or rather waiting for everyone else to learn what the committee chose. Use the player below to listen to the podcast, or use this link to take you straight to the MP3 file.
