Yes, Notes from the Horn Book looks and works a little different/ly and we hope you find it works for you! (Send any complaints or compliments to newsletter@hbook.com.) It’s a very busy time in the Horn Book office: the March/April issue of the Magazine goes to the printer today and we’re already steaming ahead on the annual May/June special issue, theme this year being “Breaking the Rules.” Plus we are already reminding the Newbery, Caldecott, Legacy, and Coretta Scott King Award winners that they all have speeches to write in time for ALA Annual in Chicago and our July/August issue. I feel about jugglers the way other people feel about mimes, but I do wish we had some on hand now!
From the February 2020 issue of Notes from the Horn Book.
