Happy Holi!

Holi — "the Festival of Colors" — is here! The festival has roots in several Hindu legends and is a time to welcome spring, celebrate friendships, forgive wrongs, and start anew.

Here are three recent books featuring the holiday for very young children. Thanks to Ajanta Chakraborty for recently sending us the book below and sharing the series' philosophy: " Our mission is simple - Raise Multicultural Kids!"

We highly recommend that you check out Kitaab World's "Top Picks for Holi" booklist. And we can't forget a shout-out to our friends at the Boston-based publisher Mango and Marigold Press (formerly Bharat Babies), an "independent publishing house that shares the sweet and savory experiences of the South Asian experience." We welcome your recommendations of Holi-themed books as well!

Holi, hai!
