Danbury Library visit

It was fun visiting my hometown library, the Danbury (CT) Public Library, the other week, and getting to chat with longtime junior services librarian Christine Furlo, young adult services librarian Deirdre Johnson (a Simmons alum!), and assistant director Katharine Chung (who let my kid take two peppermints, one for his brother).

The library has changed a lot -- these cool book-themed stairs, for example (which is your favorite title?); plus there's much more tech than I remember, and I remember the microfiche machines. For more on Danbury hometown pride, see "American Revolution, NOT rich white men" and "Little House in the Big 'Burbs."
