We Need Your Nominations!

Hello, Calling Caldecott readers! As the year comes to a close, we’re calling on you to help us identify the most distinguished picture books of 2024. We’re inviting you to submit three more nominations to keep the conversation vibrant and ensure we spotlight the very best in children’s book illustration.

Serving on the Caldecott Committee has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my professional life. I was honored to serve as a committee member in 2018 and as chair in 2021. The deep dives into picture book artistry and the joy of celebrating exceptional talent are unmatched. Now, we’d love to hear from you! Which books have captivated you this year?
