What Is Andy Davis Wearing?

Back in the 70's, Richard, then a film and TV producer in Chicago, helped give the young Andy Davis his start, as a cameraman. Aw, look at him now--you've all seen his The Fugitive and Holes (and I recommend A Perfect Murder, besides). Living in the mountains above Santa Barbara, Andy and his wife Adrianne have the most beautiful view from a backyard I have ever seen. As far as the foreground goes, I'll leave it to Blondie.

You already work at home. What is most different for you now?

My colleagues who usually come to my office/studio are not here. We are communicating remotely. Things are much quieter. Spending more time connecting with family and friends. Realizing how not working so intently on movies is a bit like being retired.

What is the best movie to watch during a lockdown?

Holes! Stony Island! Chain Reaction!

What are you watching?

Serious political and historical documentaries, music documentaries. Tragic Comedies… as I call what is on the news!

What are you reading?

Screenplays and news, jokes about our global isolation. Reading a new draft of our script for a modern Treasure Island.

Once we're all allowed back out, where will you and Adrianne go first?

To see our children and grandchildren! Then visit family and friends here and in Europe and South America.
