Children's Literature Lecture Host Site Application 2024

In case you missed it: the 2024 Children's Literature Lecture Host Site Application is now live!

The ALSC Children's Literature Lecture* is "an annual event featuring an author, critic, librarian, historian, or teacher of children’s literature, of any country, who shall prepare a paper considered to be a significant contribution to the field of children’s literature."

The current committee, of which I am a member, selected Rita Williams-Garcia as the recipient! (Great choice, no?) The next step is identifying a "host site" for the lecture — fill out this application by May 1, 2023.

*Formerly the May Hill Arbuthnot Honor Lecture Award; and note that this is not the Children's Literature Legacy Award. ;)
